good enclosure, but drive can slip forward
- Pros: This enclosure requires no tools to insert and remove the hard drive. It uses a SATA style power supply, so it works with drives that don't have the legacy 4-pin ATA power connector. There is a small fan than you can manually turn on and off using a switch on the back of the enclosure.
- Cons: The hard drive "snaps" into place, but there is nothing (i.e. no screws) to hold it there securely. I've panicked more than a few times when my hard drive hasn't spun up, only to find that it had just slipped forward inside the enclosure. All I have to do to correct this is open the enclosure and push the hard drive back into place.
Also, there is no shock-absorbing rubber.
- Other Thoughts: It's a good enclosure for the price.

- Pros: Good price, has USB 2.0 and eSATA connection which is a bonus. Has a fan that keeps my HDD cool. Material doesnt feel that strong, but it defenetly helps on cooling your hdd.

- Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a cheap external case get this one. price is just right for all the things that case comes with.
Great, Buy It !
- Pros: Put it together in less than 2mts, eSata bracket was bonus. Have a WD GP500 thats stays nice and cool.
- Cons: Don't understand all those people giving themselves high rating's when 98% them couldn't build a Unix server. And then they complain the item is defective
- Other Thoughts: I've had it for over 4 months, not one single problem.
