5 out of 5 eggsgood stufff

Pros: No problems. All rails are within a tenth of a volt, most are a little bit over. Readings don't change a bit under heavy load. All the connectors I could possibly need.

Cons: Price. It's pricey. It's also a little bit longer than a normal ATX PSU (otherwise same as normal dimensions), so if your case doesn't have a lot of space, you may be out of luck.

Other Thoughts: Sometimes you get what you pay for. If you don't mind replacing your PSU in a year, buy some cheapo. If you want a PSU that'll last for 5-10 years, buy one of these or its brethren.

5 out of 5 eggsNice price/quality

Pros: Single 12v rail@60A, Fans and h20 pump seem to run faster/stronger than my old multi-12vRail 800w PSU.
(PC-P&C are more honest when rating their PSU's so my old psu was probably really a 650-700w max if rated by PC-P&C)
KickButt ugly paint job, like it was left in the tanning bed too long. I may paint my house this color. (Probably my imagination about the fans and pump running stronger, but the voltages are much better and way more steady than my old PSU)

Cons: All cables are not fully sleeved.
(not really that big of a deal)
Some wierd L-Bracket on the end of this thing.
(again not that bad)

Other Thoughts: A few people are giving not having modular cables as a con.
If you go to PC-P&C's website you will find they don't like modular cables because it raises resistance, gives more parts that can break or corrode.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked for 6 minutes

Pros: Nice finish on the casing

Cons: Died after 6 minutes.

Other Thoughts: It came with the L bracket ripped out of the unit, but didnt look damaged otherwise, so I installed it. First mistake

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, sorry for the problem. Perhaps the unit was damaged in shipping, as it was fully tested before packaging (as evidenced by the included test report). Please RMA through Newegg for a replacement.
Thanks

5 out of 5 eggsthe Best

Pros: You don't need more power than this. you might think you do--but you don't. This PSU will handle ANYTHING you put on it.
And it's pretty to look at...who'd a thunk it..PC Power makes a pretty PSU lol. It's whisper silent...can't even tell if it's on. If you need power for something this PSU has the connector...in multiple...powers 4 Raptors and 2 Seagate 7200.10 250GB like nothing. This PSU will outlast many many builds.

Cons: It's pretty. What were they thinking? JK

Other Thoughts: It's pretty...pretty heavy...pretty powerful..pretty much toooo many cables unless you are building a DVD duplication <cough> server...pretty expensive. No regrets. I wanted it for a lonnnnnng time and finally caved in and got it...

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate the Specifications for this Product

Pros: The Power Supply is made by the company that sells it and the company has been making power supplies for over 20 years. In addition, every review I have read has given this PSU high marks

Cons: The only thing I can think of is the lack of modular cable support. However, anyone willing to spend some time inside their box can work out a very clean wiring system

Other Thoughts: Please update the specifications for this product. The PCI-E connectors are now (2-6 Pin PCI-E) and (2-6/8 Pin PCI-E). This is great, now the best PSU supports the future 8-Pin standard :)

5 out of 5 eggsquality unit

Pros: Single 12v rail design. Powerful and whisper quiet. Looks neat too :)

Cons: Big and heavy. Make sure your case can accomodate this baby. Could maybe have used a few more 12v power connectors and a few less sata connectors

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice (and BIG)

Pros: Quiet, Stable, Powerful, Cool. Runs my hardware very well: 8800GTX, E6600, 2GB Corsair, 3x500GB HDD, 1x150GB Raptor, SB Xfi Fatal1ty, 4xFans, Lite-on DVD. Room to grow for SLI and Physix Card going forward.

Cons: Very deep chassis - so make sure you have case depth for this behemoth.

Other Thoughts: Copper color is very cool.

SLI 8800 GTS 640s, 6x 120mm fans, xfi , tv tuner, and a blower. this psu is amazing, i havent even seen an increase in my power bill. the rails are what sold me, what sold me was the name and reputation, im bummed it's being sold to OCZ.

Cons: dust i hate dust.

Other Thoughts: do not buy a bad power supply when building a rig. buy the best PCP&C.
