You can rely on the Mushkin 550200 Power Supply for providing clean and reliable power to your system. It provides 550 Watts, at a highly regulated voltage and ultra-low ripple of 1%, to ensure higher reliability. To ensure balanced power distribution, the Mushkin 550200 features DualRail to give you two independent + 12V rails. The incorporated RailFusion feature responds to increased loads by automatically combining the +12V rails, providing ample processing power.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: Way discontinued, but just wanted to say that I've had this since 4/2007 and this thing has been through two further builds no problem. Still kicking on a i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz and GTX 460 @ 850/2000 MHz.

If only my other parts had this much longevity.

Cons: None.

1 out of 5 eggsNot dependable

Pros: Responsive customer service

Cons: Bought in 2007. PS failed about a year later. RMA'd and got another power supply. Did not use it until today. PS is dead. This model does not seem to be very reliable. Good thing there's a 5 year warranty.

Other Thoughts: Waiting for customer service's reply.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Looks nice, its modular and currently working.

Cons: Minor cons.. Modular cables could use some variety. You get 2 (I believe) SATA power cables that each have 4 connections. This can be a bit of a pain for cable management. A cable or two with just 2 SATA power cables would of been nice.

Other Thoughts: According to Asus Probe, I'm getting 4.89 for 5 volts and 11.78 for 12 volts.

This PSU repaced an Antec Smartpower 2.0 500w PSU that developed annoying capacitor noise (was about a year out of warrenty).

This PSU powers:
Xeon 3110 (e8400) at 3.6 gig
4gig o ram
Windows XP
2 8800GT's in SLI
Single DVD player/burner
Antec P900 with 7 fans.

5 out of 5 eggsjust a note

Pros: Reviewed when purchased, but just wanted to note:
100,000+ MTBF means 11.4 years of continuous usage for an average unit.

Mine is still going strong.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsVery Reliable and plenty of power

Pros: Non-PFC, looks good, solid build quality, powers my system and voltages are very stable. Works on simulated sine wave UPS

Cons: Not as efficient or powerful as my former psu

Other Thoughts: Had to switch to this after a high end unit with active PFC failed to run reliably on my brand new battery backup. It may not have as much power output and it draws about 30 more watts from the wall, but it's completely reliable. Very nice unit.

5 out of 5 eggsLove IT

Pros: My Best PSU ever. I got it a few mouths ago and have never looked back its not full modular but its close.

Cons: Only one i can think of is my case is small and modular is hard with any psu i put in.

Other Thoughts: It runs My amd x2 7750, 2gb 4sticks of ram, 9800gx2, a 1tb hdd and a dvds burner.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy to install, looks great. Has always worked just fine for me.

Cons: Not much documentation. Actually, I don't think there was any, iirc.

Other Thoughts: Some of the connectors will still joined (made from one piece of plastic and then cut into multiple connectors) so I fumbled around trying to find specific plugs for 20 minutes when it turned out and I had to break them apart. Of course, this is as much my own ignorance as it is a manufacturing flaw, I should have noticed 2 wires going to the same connector.
