Not DELL Friendly
- Pros: Worked after second channell placement... I was hoping to leave my OEM DDR2 in the drawer, but once I installed these in the primary channell slots and tried to boot, I got the MOBO beep of death. Thankfully after letting my slower latency
(4-4-4-4-) sticks lead the way, the pqi sticks worked.
- Cons: DELL Bios only recognized them at the higher latency (naturally) because DELL Bios $*CK! WILL NOT POST in DELL 4700
by themselves you need that slow set in front to get the system to boot...
- Other Thoughts: DELL 4700, 2.8Ghz,
nVidia GeForce 6800 PCIe,
Dual WD 320Gb SATAs
Hiper 580W Modular PSU
Custom Southbrige HS
Another Dell 9100
- Pros: Advertised timings are good.
- Cons: Not compatible with my Dell 9100. Tried both BIOS rev A01 and A02 and it would only detect at 400mhz 3-3-3-6 timimgs.
