Pros: To Mr Prefect you got 1200mhz out of this ram at 4-4-4-12 and 1300 to 1500 at 5-5-5-15 and you call this ram so so.Ram costing 3x as much cant do those numbers.I was only able to get 1080mhz at 5-6-6-15 out of mine and 1020 at 4-4-4-12 with 2.3v and im totally happy with mine and i paid about $30 more than you did,This ram is awesome for for the price and newegg is awesome for having deals like this.

Cons: Not knowing what IC's these really use.I know i read they are spek-tek-3.But I wonder if some unbinned D9's made their way into some batch's?

Other Thoughts: What do people expect for $xxx This ram performs on par with ram costing 3 times as much.

Pros: This ram is awesome.It runs DDR2 1000 4-4-4-12 with 2.3v.The posters below that say this ram tops at DDR2 900 5-5-5-15 .I dont think you know what yor doing.I suggest getting a new hobbie.Believe me these rock.To prove it check this thread. Im gigabit and see what i have these at

Other Thoughts: I even like the orange heat sink's.I wish i knew for sure what chips these are.cpuz says week 15/07.I read they are spek tek-3 chips well spektek is part of micron.hmmmm

Pros: Games ran a hell of a lot faster with this while it worked.

Cons: After a few months of owning this, one of the gigs died on me. So I'm left with only 1 for now.

Good ram, bad rebate

Pros: I bought this kit to go with a DFI Lanparty DK X48 mobo and an Intel E8400. The board saw the ram no problem, and when I OC'd the CPU to 3.6 w/o extra volts, the ram scaled auto w/no prob. It also matches the orange/copper on the DK mobo perfectly - excellent!

Cons: When I bought it, it had a rebate that dropped 1/3 of the price, and I tripled-checked all the instructions for the rebate. Two months later, I noticed I had no word from Worldwide Rebates (WWR), and when I contacted them with my tracking number, they said they never received the documentation. Liars! I'm sure they just pocket it while reporting to Geil it's been sent to the customer. So don't expect a rebate if one is offered again.

Other Thoughts: Overall, great ram for the price even without a rebate, so I would give 5 eggs for that. But one egg comes off for Geil selecting Worldwide Ripoffs as their rebate associate. I suggest to all companies to process rebates in-house; letting a contractor cheat a customer just makes your company look bad.
