Finally...
- Pros: system booted right up. fast ram, looks great. corsair is top notch. nice heat spreaders. runs at advertised timings. works on my ecs slit a 5.1
- Cons: make sure that your speed is matched correctly. timings run as advertised at 1.9v but you have to changed timings and voltage manually. not recognizing 44412, booted at 55515. bandwidth is a bit lower than should be, but im working on that
- Other Thoughts: packaging was great, reached apo address overseas 6k miles away in one week. hit me up on xfire at the nickname shown, read over review of ecs slit a 5.1 also
Overclocking Monster
- Pros: Overclocking beast. I'm using a Gigabyte 965P-DS3 mobo with an Intel Core 2 Duo 6300 (standard intel heatsink). I have my 1.86Ghz processor running over 3.0GHz with this RAM running in the ballpark of 860 or PC2 6880. This is a 22% gain over the RAM's advertised speeds. The RAM is running at default clocks of 4-4-4-12 and is barely warm to the touch. Awesome buy and highly recommended. I researched and compared so many different sticks of RAM and brands and am glad I found these babies.
- Cons: It kills me to pay over $200 for RAM but I'm running Vista and wouldn't consider anything under 2GB.
- Other Thoughts: If you want overclockable RAM with great latencies and an okay price (compared to everything else) get this RAM.
