5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: Solid Quality, Stable, Affordable

Cons: none that I can think of...

Other Thoughts: Bought this set back in Christmas '05 for my Gigabyte board...and they have worked flawlessly. Granted, they are a bit out-dated now compared to the DDR2 mem sets. But if you have an older system that needs memory overhaul, these will not disappoint.

FYI -- if you are running Vista, you definitely want to go with a 2x1gb set instead. I'm still running XP Pro, and 1 gig of mem works fine for that.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent, again

Pros: Bought another 1GB kit, fantastic stuff, runs cooler with heatsinks and CPU runs cooler because of it.

Cons: PC3200 DDR compatible processors and motherboards are basically obsolete.

Other Thoughts: Newegg, once again, thank you!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid and Reliable

Pros: Reliable, Stable, Decent Price for the value, etc.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I've had this pair in my AMD X2 system now for about 20 months, and so far they have worked like a charm with my Gigabyte board. I'm usually a pretty dedicate Crucial mem user, but I decided to take a chance on these Patriot sticks, and they have not disappointed so far. Granted, 400mhz is way out of date now. But if you have an older system that needs a memory upgrade, these are as good a bed as any!

5 out of 5 eggsNo Problems

Pros: Running two sticks for a year and a half without any problems - no memory errors, no BSD.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Expected problems after comparing prices and scanning reviews but decided to take my chances. I am nicely surprised to see how this product holds up.

5 out of 5 eggsLonger then I thought

Pros: I've owned this memory for 3 years now and I've only had one problem with it. One or both of the sticks fried after 2 years of usage when my dad decided to unplug my computer while it was running. I called Patriot and they said to send both sticks back, and I had new sticks within two weeks.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's about $100 cheaper from when I bought it. I love that RAM is finally going down in price.

Pros: Great RAM. I have owned it for about 3 months now and it's been really great. Just ordered another Gig.

Cons: Absolutely none

Other Thoughts: Athlon 64x2 4400+ (939), EVGA 8800GTS 640MB, ASUS A8N-SLI, 160 GB Seagate Barracuda, 1GB (soon to be 2GB) Patriot RAM

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than the Cr@p sold locally!!

Pros: Runs at specified speed, allows for minor overclocking (granted to up the voltage slightly) Stable and fast. on par with my Kingmax DDR 3200 512 sticks. My Asus p4p800-e recognized it immediately and has been booting up ever since - every time.

Cons: NONE. Does what it says, is what it is.......

Other Thoughts: Should have check back sooner, now the got a rebate!!
Although the run at spec, theses are not overclocking memory, the freq takes a dive to 200mhz as soon as you go past running speed of 400mhz, regardless of the timings. Yet doesn't all budget memory do that?? I'll roll with it.
