Pros: Good price.

Cons: Does not work with with my earlier MacBook Pro model from 2006: MacBook Pro 15.4-inch 1.83GHz (MA463LL/A) Intel Core Duo. Find out your specification (as in MA463LL/A) before you make a purchase.

Anyway, the site unfortunately does not tell you in which specific models this will work. But NewEgg costumer service has been helpful so far.

Pros: Its super easy to install for a semi tech savvy person. I'm no pro but I was able to with success. The memory I was initially sent was defective and made my laptop crash. But after I contacted g.skill they were very helpful and I am replacing the memory with no issues. But before the problems began everything seemed to work really well and my games ran faster.

Cons: Obviously that I had to get the memory replaced. Just my luck. :( I'm not sure if it was Newegg's doing or not but it doesn't matter since the memory has a lifetime warranty.

Other Thoughts: Don't contact Newegg when it comes to issues with your product working properly. Immediately contact the maker of the product.
