What noise? Great drive.

Pros: Great drive, good $ per GB ratio. Very fast, and mine is actually very quiet. I have no complaints about this drive and would order another in a heartbeat.

Cons: Does not come with a SATA cable, i guess?

Other Thoughts: AM2 3000+@2.3Ghz, ECS mATX Mobo (ATI chipset), x850xt pe, 1GB DDR2 5400.... all works great with this drive.

Pros: Fast and large!!

Cons: Noisy drive but quieter than my four fans.

Other Thoughts: This drive is fast and large and hasn't ever failed on me and I have had one for over a year so I bought another and put it in a raid. Newegg shipping was fast and accurate as always.

Pros: The price was very good. The speed is descent.

Cons: THE NOISE !!! It's is so freaking LOUD that I'm considering replacing it just for that.
