Never Worked
- Pros: Cheap
- Cons: DOA? My system did not recognize the drive, Western Digital had absolutely no help.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg Rocks my sox!
- Pros: It runs. WD was a plus when compared to Hitachi and other bottom-tiered hard drive brands.
- Cons: It isn't too quiet. Theres a distinct whine when running and clicking noise when the drive is being heavily accessed. While the temperature may be in spec, it runs rather hot.
- Other Thoughts: Only reason I bought this over Seagate was the positive reviews. Though I see all the negatives are stemming from DOA drives, which it seems I may be in possession of. WD is all I used to buy, out of bias and not having used other brands. Once I bought a Seagate, I never went back. Samsung have been recent purchases too and are some of the best drives I've ever used. We'll see in the long run how the drives last, but I do not intend on buying a WD again.

- Cons: it doesn't come preformated...lol, much higher capcity hard drives are not much more money
- Other Thoughts: Baught for a friend who needed something cheap.
