love the Deskstar
- Pros: I bought my first Hitachi about 3 years ago, this will be my 7th or 8th for all the different machines ive built for ppl, have never had an issue.
- Cons: The Egg folks forgot 1 part of my order, and it took them a week to get it out to me.
- Other Thoughts: dont drink and drive.
Great so far
- Pros: I have owned 2 of these over a year and they have never had a problem. They work great in a raid 0 config. They are very quiet. I haven't had a heat issue either, but I have a 120mm fan blowing accross them.
- Cons: None, a great buy.
- Other Thoughts: I want another to get my raid alittle bigger.
Seems to work but loud.
- Pros: It works, Newegg Sold it, Sata2 price..
- Cons: It seems very loud for todays standards, it also has this occasional Click, Its not the "Click Of Death" Though, not sure what it is.
- Other Thoughts: I wouldnt buy again, and wouldt reccomend it to anyone.
