Knowing what to do
- Pros: Good feal, precise. Keyboard is quiet, feals good to type with. media controls and LCD are awsome
- Cons: not easy to figure out how to set up.
- Other Thoughts: I know this has been getting some pretty bad reviews, but those people are just quitters. What I did to get around all of the problems that the previous reviewers had was a couple step proces, but it seems to be working. first, when you install the drivers from the cd, choose only to install the keyboard drivers. The keyboard will suffer considerable lag unless you remember to do the update, then it works fine. The problem area is the mouse. go online and get the drivers specificly for the MX1000, and install those. after those are installed, you may still suffer problems. in order to solve them, simply turn off pointer acceleration, and set the speed relatively high, and you should be fine. Good luck!
Happy with it!
- Pros: Great accuracy, laser rocks! LCD is nice, good features. Works great for Half-Life 2 after being secured.
- Cons: Slight 2 - 3 second lag after device sits a while... very minor though. It just has to wake up. I think it's a power saving feature. Doesn't happen during normal use. Unless you don't secure the signal.
- Other Thoughts: SECURE YOUR SIGNAL!! People complain about the mouse jumping around, or keyboard messing up as they type, plus some extra lag during use, but I experienced none of this AFTER securing the signal. It prevents interference from other radio signals. SECURE IT!

Wouldn't recommend it
- Pros: This is one of the coolest looking keyboards ever.
- Cons: This is one of the worse performing keyboards ever!
The bluetooth connectivity drops quite frequently and the software included with it is bug ridden!
I wouldn't recommend this keyboard to anybody.
- Other Thoughts: There's a reason so many people have left bad reviews for this product... Don't ignore the writing on the wall!! If you do go ahead and decide to purchase this despite all of our feedback anyways.... then consider yourself warned.
For those with lots of patience only
- Pros: Looks nice, comfortable design, light, media player and volume controls are easy to use and quite useful. Battery life on both keyboard and mouse are reasonably good.
- Cons: Keyboard and mouse randomly and inexplicably lose their connections. Most of the time for only a few seconds, though sometimes it takes up to 20 minutes of pressing connection buttons and waving them in front of the connector to get them working again. Very frustrating. After about 3 months of use most of the gold wore off of the power connectors on the back of the mouse. I can now only charge the mouse after minutes of carefully adjusting its position on the charger to create some kind of connection. I found that licking the connectors before putting the mouse on the charger helps a bit. Other than that, the "ModeF" feature is annoying and useless, there is no scroll-lock or numb-lock button; you have to install Logitech's bummer-of-an-app to use those "features." It's also very easy to accidentally hit mute when playing games, which can be pretty maddening. Oh yes, and the LCD screen is pointless, unless you really hate looking at your monitor when using your computer.
- Other Thoughts: I'm amazed that this combo hasn't gone down in price after two years. It wasn't worth the cash back then, and it's definitely not worth it now. Get it for the comfort and the media player/volume controls, but expect to be abused and punished for enjoying those parts. Maybe if this were below $80, but $120? No. There are better keyboards and mouses (mice...whatever.)
Works Great
- Pros: Works just like it said it would. Plug it in and away you go. Works good from the couch (PC is about 10ft away).
- Cons: Only once in the last 12 months has it not been able to find the keyboard/mouse. I just reset them and it was fine.
- Other Thoughts: I have had 0 complaints in 12 months.
