Great monitor!
- Pros: First of all, Newegg, awesome. Fast secure shipping. The monitor itself is gorgeous. No backlight bleeding whatsoever when I first turned it on. The monitor defaults at 1280x1024 @ 75mhz. The 800:1 contrast ratio allows for some VERY nice and vibrant colors (although I had to spend most of the first day adjusting it). Absolutely no ghosting/blurring during games (CoD2, DOD:S, FEAR, EQ2). You simply can't beat the price, especially with DVI to boot. Oh, and the monitor is wall-mountable. Sweet-sauce!
- Cons: I noticed a very highpitched humming noise while my monitor is turned off. It's quiet, and barely noticeable, but I'm sure my dogs will end up def by the end of this month. Also, there is very little adjustment to the base itself, as it just tilts up and down.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this monitor mainly for gaming and photo-editting, as I am a semi-avid photographer and take my hobby pretty seriously. The strange thing is that there was some awfully noticeable banding (stripes showing noticeable changes in gradience) and my #000000 blacks were showing up as a dark shade of gray. But since then I updated my drivers and that has since dissapeared. But again, no ghosting during games, and that seems to be a big worry with gamers. Day of Defeat: Source is gorgeous on this baby. Anyone complaining about blurring more than likely doesn't have the monitor set to its native resolution. Do yourself a favor and pick one up. I'm glad I did!
Very nice
- Pros: 19 inch, extremely cheap, great response time, very crisp display. No dead pixels either. This is my first LCD monitor, a switch from a 17inch CRT, and the difference is amazing! Very good for gaming
- Cons: Too bright at first, but adjusting the gamma fixes it quickly. Also, if I run this monitor at 75Hz refresh rate, I get red blinking pixes in images every now and then. So I have to run it at 60Hz, any higher and it gives me the problem. (Could be my video card though, not sure(x800xl))
- Other Thoughts: I was skeptical for my first buy, and was troubled by how many problems there could have been. But, there were none. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a large monitor for cheap. (Newegg rocks!)

A great buy
- Pros: Once again, Sceptere has come through with a great product!! This is the 4th time I have bought this monitor, and will buy it again
- Cons: The hardest thing is to get Nerwegg to keep these in stock!! Box was a little baged up, but that is ups!!!
- Pros: Great clarity, no dead pixels unlike my ACER equvalent, great for working in the dark
- Cons: NO AUTO CONFIG
- Other Thoughts: Great monitor, plays great on UNREAL 2003
I like it
- Pros: Picture is as clear as I care for it to be, colors are bright and correct. Res is a lil lower than my new video card but honestly who needs it above that on a 19" display?
- Cons: stand doesn't tilt but its the right height for me so its fine
- Other Thoughts: Bought it elsewhere b/c it was a replacement for my LG that broke and wanted it that day. Would buy again
