Pros: Indecisively sifting through hundreds of CD/DVD burner expert & customer reviews on various online computer/store websites throughout the internet, seeking to replace the NEC burner I've used to burn what must be THOUSANDS of cds and dvds over the past 4 years (it all of a sudden up and died on me 6 odd months ago.... i quite literally burnt that thing into the ground), I bit the bullet and purchased this one, disregarding the handful of negative feedback (EVERYTHING for sale on the internet has positive and negative feedback!)..... And what a purchase. Having had this installed on my computer a little over a month now and having burnt 50+ dvds and cds (unlike my last burner) I've surprisingly yet to have a single write error, not one -- even while multitasking. With my last burner, I always had the occasional coaster. Every burn is perfect. It's fast. It's quiet. It's everything I was looking for.

I highly recommend this to those of you looking to replace your dead cd/dvd burner.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Pros: Seems to burn everything. Not a picky burner at all.

Cons: Slower reading DVD+-Rs.

Other Thoughts: This is about my 7th burner. Alot of burners are picky in what media they like. Lots of people send back media thinking it is faulty when it is actually the burner. This accepts the media that the pickys would not.

Pros: It does its job. It burns cds and dvds. I haven't burned a bad disk yet in nearly three months.

Cons: NOPE.

Other Thoughts: I'm trying to order one for my sister's PC, and they're out of stock. That must be because this is a good product.

Pros: I can see why this burner has won a Newegg award. Believe me, you would be hard pressed to find someone who burns more than i do, and this burner is top drawer. No coasters at all yet. I've used about every dvd blank you'd care to name. everything just burns perfectly.
If you are finally tired of playing around with those other burners - this is the one to buy.

Cons: It wont walk my dog. ^_^

Other Thoughts: after my last nightmare of a burner (a sony optiarc) it's nice to see such a quality product at a very good price.

Other Thoughts: Very great drive for the cost. I've had mine for about six months.. haven't had a single problem yet. It has burned and read everything I've thrown at it so far. You cannot go wrong getting this drive!
