2 months...broken!
- Comments: you get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend paying for this, not even with between the couch cushion change. I wouldn't take one of these for free. Who needs a free lump of plastic and metal....oh and when it did work the discs would play fine for about 30 minutes then they would skip and stop. Burn at minimum speed and hope things go well.

- Comments: I bought this about 6 weeks ago, and so far, haven't had any problems. I've been using tdk dvd-r media (8x - media id TTG02) and have burned about 7 of them - all have played perfectly in my older (5 years) RCA DVD player. I will no longer have to buy another children's movie again b/c my daughter scratched up the original. Burned a couple cd-r also, with no problem - they play fine in my shelf cd player. I had originally wanted the NEC 3540, but so for I am happy with this drive - which included the Nero 3 OEM Suite (includes nero 6.5). Thanks for the speedy shipping, and delivery newegg!
