5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Customer Service

Pros: It's a fan and it's quiet and it's great.

I do want to comment on the Customer Service though.
I ordered two of these and my package didn't arrive. After I waited long enough, I was pretty upset and sent them an email. They replied quickly and were very apologetic. They immediately sent me another two which have now arrived safely. I am very happy! :)

Cons: Cons? They don't spit out money, that'd be pretty cool.

Other Thoughts: Solid fans, excellent customer service.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Cheap
Very easy installation
Quiet, moves a lot of air
long shielded cable, both molex and standard fan connector.

Cons: Sleeve bearing, so it may not last as long as a ball bearing fan.

Other Thoughts: -If you have an large video card. Take it out before you do this install. Especially if you have large hands. If you orient the cooler correctly this places the clips in the direction of your PCI express Slot.

-I don't know if the Hydraulic Fan is a plus or a gimmick.

System Specs:

4 out of 5 eggsThey work

Pros: It pushes quire a bit of air. It is cheap.

Cons: Loud. And they get exponentially louder the longer they live. Still I never had one fail so I guess they're reliable.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Air Output, but Loud!

Pros: - Puts out a good amount of air for the price.
- Perfect for the setup I was building.

Cons: Loud. I had to go into the BIOS and turn down the speed because it was just loud. Very loud. Even with it turned down, however, it still put out the amount of air needed.

Other Thoughts: This was added to a build with a fanless MOBO/CPU combo, but I felt that with the tight Mini-ITX enclosure, and the PSU being so close to the MOBO, it wouldn't hurt to have one fan to circulate some of the hot air out of the system.

2 out of 5 eggsDid not last a long time

Pros: Worked flawlessly for almost a year. Our computers are on almost 24/7/365.
Quieter than the stock fans it replaced.
Competitive price.

Cons: Started making horrible noises around the 1 year mark. 7 of the 8 I bought are now defective as they make loud noises on start up and continue to make noise as they operate. They have also developed brittle, broken fins. Fins from several of the fans broke as I used compressed air to clean them.

Other Thoughts: Bad batch? I blow out our work computers once a month to combat dust in fans. I also bought 4 Rosewill fans of the same size at the same time of purchase. Rosewill fans continue to work flawlessly.

5 out of 5 eggsyay it spins

Pros: Bought it to replace the worst fan I've seen in a sff D,e,L,L tower. that thing might as well not even spin. This fan pushes 4x the air at lower rpms.

Cons: Its a little wider than the fan it replaced.

3 out of 5 eggsnot great

Pros: It blows air, and it plugs into the standard power sockets. Inexpensive.

Cons: It's weak. From the other reviewers you might get the impression that this is some kind of powerhouse, but it's not. It's just a weak case fan. I can barely feel the air flow. And it's a little loud considering how weak it is.

Other Thoughts: It's hard to see why anyone would want this fan. If you want something powerful to cool an overheating PC, then you should look elsewhere. If overheating isn't a problem, you will still probably want to look elsewhere for something quieter. For my own part, I wish I had spent more to get something more powerful. On the other hand, it works, so if all you need is a basic case fan that is neither powerful nor quiet, then this one is fine I guess.

4 out of 5 eggsLoud, 1/5 DOA

Pros: -Inexpensive (I paid $2.99 each w/ discount)
-High airflow
-3pin header as well as MOLEX adapter

Cons: -Cheap: the solder pad fell off of one out of the 5 fans I purchased. Not a bad solder joint but the pad on the PCB separated from the PCB meaning I could not just solder it back in place.
-Loud: I did know this going in and expected it.

Other Thoughts: I bought 5 of these because they were on sale, and the limit was 5 per customer. I bought them for my HTPC which is in a media cabinet with doors and I wanted to use one to vent the cabinet and a few inside the HTPC for ventilation. With all 5 running, the sound is just too much for my living room; even with just 1 the noise is noticeable. I ended up using one to vent the cabinet and one to ventilate the case both with in-line resistors to slow them down and reduce noise, with this setup there is a low hum but is no louder than my furnace or A/C.
Overall, if noise is no concern and you need an inexpensive 80mm case fan, then these are a good option.
