5 out of 5 eggsCreative Insire T5400

Pros: Most bang for the buck for any 5.1 system in this price range. Match these bad boys up with a Creative Audigy sound card and you will smile all the time.

Cons: None so far............

Other Thoughts: My new build with Asus mo/bo came with eight channel onboard chip, but these speakers and added sound card stole the show. I was amazed at the difference good speakers and a added sound card would make.. Buy them!!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsTried and proven to be:

Pros: Excelent value and high quility.

Cons: Lack of Digital input for aux.

Other Thoughts: I got this system to use with both a computer and HD LCD TV. This system will only power front speakers with the Aux. input, however the sound quility is very good along with great bass. The LCD TV without this add on is dead in the water. The 5400 is awesome used with the computer.

F.R from Texas

PS..........I ordered on Monday and shipment arrived on Wed. Thanks to Newegg.com and UPS

3 out of 5 eggsI'm not so sure anymore

Pros: -Very inexpensive for 5.1
-Nice metal stands, gave them a higher-quality feel
-2-way speaker design adds solid highs to the mix
-16' of rear speaker cable covers you adequately

Cons: The sub is already dying on me. I'm really upset that I'll have to RMA these; I spent most of the day saturday mounting the satellites, heh. The sub fades in and out, and muddies up the mix. Theres a green LED in the wired remote, and it keeps dimming and eventually goes off. I've tried numerous receptacles in my home, and the same thing occurs, so the power is there: its just the sub giving out on me.

Other Thoughts: I've done pro audio for local concerts for just about any type of music someone could like.AZ I work with expensive equipment, and I can say that these are very nice for the price. Again, I'm really bummed that I have to go through the whole RMA process. Creative has pretty good support, though.

5 out of 5 eggsT5400,,Just Awsome.

Pros: 5.1 sound!
Music Fans: The front three main speakers got TWEETERS!
So you get all three, tweeters,
mid-range drivers, and one heck-of-ah sub-woofer for that deep
bass that rattles the walls.
Gamers: 5.1 sound, this set was built for EAX games, just totaly awsome so far with my own eax games like Call of Duty and Pirates!
DVD Movies: 5.1 Surround Sound!
The Wired remote is really straightforward and easy to use, plus it has a jack for headsets.
You can actualy control the
Sub-woofer with the remote switch
from all the way on to all the way off, great feature that.

Cons: Cons? nothing serious. The rear speakers are wired
up diffently than the front speakers, must plug the bare end of the wires into them, no big deal realy, not
enuff to deduct one egg for it.

Other Thoughts: I think the rear speakers are wired the way they are with accidents in mind, if the wires get pulled out somehow it will not destroy the whole speaker.
Just re-strip the end of the wires and plug them back in!
DVD Movie Audio: I use PowerDVD 4, at first i got this wierd noise from the audio, enuff to be a noticable distraction,so to make long story short, from powerdvd menu, goto config, choose audio,at the choose audio output,
choose "use spdif", and you will
get crystal clear movie sound!
discovered this by trial and error.
These Speakers sound Awsome connected to my Audigy4. [Not the Pro version, but the less expensive version that is strangley abscent from Neweggs
SB line-up so far.}

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good bang for your buck

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Need a low cost 5.1? Get these. I was impressed how loud they get. Nice smooth bass with plenty of power for a small room. A wireless remote for a few dollars more would have earned these 5 stars. Thanks Newegg for quick shipping and great prices and UPS for delivering a day early.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Gaming Speakers

Pros: Adds a dimension to FPSs that allows you to track enemies by sound alone. They also sound incredible with SACD or other hi-fi sources. Cables are more than adequate in length, installation is a breeze.

Cons: There are no cons. Want more bass, more wattage, 7.1 capability, or something that flies? Buy something with those features. This product does what it is supposed to do - with excellence.

Other Thoughts: A definite must have for MP3 and FPS enthusiasts.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Speakers

Pros: These speakers are amazing, look no further when it comes to 5.1 sound! Had these for almost 5 months and the sound is incredible, my friend came over who plays BF2 with headphones and is now buying the same setup!

Cons: its not 7.1?

Other Thoughts: I have these speakers paried with a Creative Labs Audigy 2 ZS, and it is amazing! Best sound system I have ever owned and won't need to update my system anytime soon. If you play BF2, this is an amazing setup, you can hear artillery comming!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Surround Sound

Pros: Speakers are great!! Got the last night and plugged them into my Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic sound card. Loaded up F.E.A.R. and turned on the surround and was amazed at how much better the gameplay was with surroud. I could hear everything, surround sounds sounded great behind me. Music sound awesome. Can't go bad with these speakers for the price.

Cons: Some RCA connector pins for the center, left and right were bent to where I couldn't plug them in. But with some pliers it was no trouble to bend them back to a round shape. Was able to plug them in after that. Other than that no problems so far...
