This thing has been dropped numerous times, stored in my backpack since bought, left outside in heat, etc. I have never had a problem with Western Digital hard drives and is the reason they will always have my business. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I got it several months ago. Got it on a NewEgg deal. It is quiet yet very fast even on USB 2.0. I use it to transfer videos to other areas for playback. It's as smooth as silk. Cons: I like the white light but some will not care for a laser-like LED light that is on constantly. Under activity, the light will flash. It's no big deal and certainly no deal-killer 120Gb may be too small for backups. (but that's not what I bought it for) Other Thoughts: This item has neared the top of my list for "things that really helped me do something". Western Digital remains a solid company for making HDD. I love getting away from the bulky 3.5" drives and the clumsy big boxes. As always, Newegg came through with flying colors. Did you find this review helpful?
