Comments: Excellent notebook for the money, and I purchased it when it was $xx more! Love the weight and the battery life. The hard drive protection from falls and <font>d</font>rops is sweet, as I managed to <font>d</font>rop it down the stairs during the first week! The ATI video ram (64MB 9600) was an added perk to it, along with the SXGA screen. Wireless works great and the 1.7Ghz chip chugs right along like no other. I threw in another 512MB of RAM (from the Egg of course) and this machine flies. Highly reccommended. Great service from NewEgg once again. I didn't even bother to shop around for this, I just went with the best e-tailer out there and put all my faith and trust into them!

Comments: Got mine in the mail today. Didn't think it would really be this light. I've used Thinkpads ranging from the 750p to the T21. This laptop cannot be compared to the others. The keyboard is solid, the screen is crisp, and I appreciate the hell out of a laptop with a middle mouse button. The DVD burners for these are apparently hard to find right now. I've seen them ship from most sites in 3 to 4 weeks. Buy the port replicator (retail 149), not the dock (retail 3xx). The dock has a PCI slot and more PCMCIA slots (why??).

Comments: This is my fourth IBM Thinkpad in the last decade. I've tried the other manufacturers and keep returning to the Thinkpads. I've also tried other vendors, but keep returning to NewEgg.

Comments: Great laptop, added a gig of RAM and this machine flys. Best mix of features for the $$. Also Newegg's service rocks as usual.
