Pros: If you are looking to buy a camcorder with alot of features this is not it. This is the simplest thing I have ever used. REALLY you pick it up and push a red button to record and push it again to stop. If you are looking for good video and not much more this is the camcorder for you. The flip video software is just as simple to use. This thing is fun. My 8 year old loves it. You can edit, make movies, crop, send emails, post to web sites, upload anywhere all with in the software. It will even allow you to add music to your movie. It is very fast compared to other video editors I have used. Its fun and easy to use!!! Also you can use 2 AA batteries or the rechargable that comes with it.
Cons: Not any features. Minimal zoom 2x. Needs good light. Not for the want to be videographer.
Other Thoughts: I have a 10 year old digital 8mm camera and this little thing takes better video that it does. 2hr record time is plenty. It also will separate your video out by takes and let you put you movies together. That way you will not have to cut up 2hrs worth of video unless you ran it that long in one single take. I can not tell you enough how simple and suprising this thing is!!

Pros: This is exactly what it says plus some. Don't understand anyone's review under 4 stars, don't believe them. We get excellent HD recording of our newborn daughter and everyone I know has raved about its picture and simplicity.
Cons: None. Know what you are buying people.
Other Thoughts: I would make a video, but I had difficulty recording myself, myself.

Cons: We used our flip for about 2 months and then it promptly stopped being able to charge the rechargable battery. Tried to use other batteries with no luck. Complete disappointment. Would not recommend to anyone.

Cons: Now I get error code when uploading to youtube Error code: 13, 3
FlipShare is unable to upload to YouTube. Please check your Internet connection and try again.
Error processing upload video response.
Thread info: Upload to YouTube : {4c126fa6-d879-4462-b0da-bf2236e6b426} What does this mean? This thing was great until uploads suddenly stoped. I think I will return it as defective if this keeps up.
Other Thoughts: I think it may have something to do with a software update which also brought doubles of every video on my flip once again to my pc.

Pros: NONE
Cons: I owned this product for only one month when the interior screen cracked through no misuse or neglect. However, FLIP refuses to honor any warranty because they claim that anything that happens to their product is an "ACT of G.O.D.." Please do not buy their products as they are a scam manufacturer.
