Good deal

bad warp
- Pros: This system is better then I thought it was going to be. I was just hoping it was going to work. This system is perfect for a small front room or bedroom. Easy to setup.
- Cons: Is not ment for a big room, verry little settings.
Died in less than a year
- Pros: Sounded great when it was working. Tons of functions. HDMI. DVD picture looked terrific. I think the upconversioning of regular DVDs looks better than DVDs played in my PS3. Plays DVDs from all regions. USB port for plugging in a USB stick to look at pictures and movies was cool. Sleek and small system.
- Cons: One day, after about 8-9 months, the power cut out. I unplugged it and plugged it back in a while later and it resumed functioning. a few days later the same thing happened and eventually it came back. Then one day the LEDs on the front came on but there was no sound. I have a DVD stuck inside and it won't eject. So basically it looks like it turns on but doesn't do anything. Another con is that the speakers have built in wires and they are very thin. It will be a huge pain if any of the wires ever snapped or a pet chewed through it. It is also very difficult to program with a Universal remote because each function for the system has it's own remote frequency. So for example, the volume for the DVD is different for the volume for the radio.
- Other Thoughts: I was very happy when it worked, but that was for way too short of time. Ultimately, I regret buying this system and have found many people with the same problems I have experienced. I think it has something to do with a very cheap power supply that can't be replaced. It sits in my living room right now looking pretty and wasting space (with my DVD still stuck inside!). I'm cursing Philips for making such a cheaply made product. What a headache this thing has turned out to be!
