Pros: Gigabit switch. Dual radios (2.4GHz & 5GHz). Fast. Stable. Ton of memory to handle a lot of connections.
Other Thoughts: Some will say the price is a Con., but I say you get what you pay for. In this router you are paying for a fast processor, lots of memory, dual radios, and a built-in gigabit switch.
The stock firmware is pretty good. The setup was smooth and intuitive. The open source dd-wrt builds are pretty stable and worth a look.
This is the best wirless router I have ever owned.
This review is from: LINKSYS PLEK400 Powerline AV 1-Port Network Adapter Kit Up to 200Mbps
Pros: Plug and Play
Cons: Cost is about the same as buying a SOHO wireless router.
Other Thoughts: I bought this kit to attempt to get better speed to my sons room. Our wireless access point is on the first floor while his bedroom is on the third. Thus the wireless signal wasn't the best. With the power line adapters we are getting a solid 30Mbps. Whereas the wireless access point would fluctuate dramatically. Not peak performance, but not bad for traversing one circuit, into the breaker box, and then up the run to the third floor.
So I say again... Not bad.
Pros: Inexpensive (for a 2TB).
Other Thoughts: I bought this drive to put in my backup machine. Its not terribly fast at 5400RPM, but for performing backups of my rather large music/movie collection it fits the bill nicely.READ FULL REVIEW
