WoW!
Pros: Many overclocking abilities. Nice layout. 'Cool' coloring. Although I bought this board for the great price, on-board HD video, brand. I have pc builds using many brands of mobos. I have yet to have issue(s) with Gigabyte products. Gigabyte's site is easy to navigate for any driver needs or spec inquires for memory or cpu compatibility.
Cons: Some people complain about the non-standard mATX size of this board. Leaving one corner not supported when making usually SATA connections. Many boards are like this. I haven't come across a mATX board that doesn't have an unsupported corner. >>> I do like the fix some others have stated about the self-stick silicone buttons strategically placed under this corner. I did that with this board. Works great! Problem solved. <<< Side note, how much force are you actually using to connect the SATA cable? Are you making SATA cable connection changes daily or what? Maybe you need to look into a HDD hot swap rack/bay.
Overall Review: For all those gamers who complain about the lack of space for their oversized video cards covering the adjacent PCI slots. *** You're spending upwards of $250-$350 for a video card and complaining about a relatively cheap $60 mobo. ?????? *** You have issues!
Ooooo... Windows 10
Overall Review: Couldn't find my old upgrade to windows 10. While waiting for the delivery of this... I downloaded the windows 10 install to a USB. A much faster install. (5 min vs 10-20 min)
Love that speed.
Overall Review: I recommend.
Super-Fan
Pros: I got this fan because my work no longer allows us to use any fans/heaters at our desk that plug into the wall sockets. I use this USB powered fan at my desk using the power already supplied thru my office PC. Management was speechless and couldn't think of a reason to not allow me to use this. (This even works if your work prevents access to USB ports, like using thumb-drives.) And the price! Wow! All others I found were at least $20 or more. Most were more! Nice and quiet with plenty of air flow.
Cons: This fan would be even better if it had an OFF position on the speed adjustment knob. You have to pull the USB plug to turn it off. This can be difficult depending on the location of your USB port. (My work PC connections are on the back only.)
Overall Review: This fan is small enough to set just about anywhere. And if you don't have space to set it down, you can use a small square of self-sticking velcro to stick-it just about anywhere. (the velcro allows me to move the fan easily rather than using double-sided tape, which can be hard to remove and messy) I stuck mine to the underside of my desk surface... making a nice cool breeze directed up my torso. It also makes my hair wave around like I'm a mad scientist. LOL!
Pros: Great that I got this with my copy of Vista. No need to download from MS site.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: .
Pros: Great OS. Looking forward to spending a little more time to enjoy all the new features.
Cons: none yet.
Overall Review: Using this OS for my HTPC setup. Works great so far!
