5 out of 5 eggs DaVinci 3d printer 03/11/2016

This review is from: XYZprinting daVinci 1.0 3D Printer

Pros: great entry level printer, the xyzware suck but there are ways around it. Easily hacked. I've got 2 of them and haven't had any issues. The price is great with free shipping.

Cons: Proprietary filament, as I've mentioned previously, easily hacked.

Other Thoughts: There is a steep learning curve with any 3d printer, it takes lots of reading to see what other people are doing for better prints.

5 out of 5 eggs Davinci 1.0A 02/06/2015

This review is from: XYZprinting daVinci 1.0 3D Printer

Pros: This is an update to my previous review: There are plenty of work -arounds to the filament constraints. I have a XYZerocart that lets me adjust the temps and use whatever filament I want. Best money spent to stay within the warranty .

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Not sure why the price keeps jumping between $399 and $499.. oh well.

5 out of 5 eggs DaVinci 1.0a 01/15/2015

This review is from: XYZprinting daVinci 1.0 3D Printer

Pros: Cheap, and built well, enclosed.. Was delivered quickly. I get pretty good prints after learning some tweaks.

Cons: Dealing with proprietary filament and software, but there are many ways around them. Expect to do a lot of reading on the forums. Wish it was a duo printer..

Other Thoughts: I snagged this on a shellshocker combo for $449 with 5 rolls of additional filament carts.. I couldn't pass it up, and I see it showing up at times for $399. Decent machine for the money..
