This review is from: NETGEAR 5 Port 10/100 Business-Class Desktop Switch - Lifetime Warranty (FS105)
Pros: Works great very simple to setup. Just plug in and go. I like the mettle case as it is very sturdy. Trusted name. I have had other switches fail on me in less than 1 year.

Pros: I have owned this router for over 1 year. The setup was easy. It had been rock solid except for the discussion below.
Cons: The only con I have found is that when I have had to do a reset of the router I would lose my internet connection. So although the wireless was enabled I could not connect to the internet without first reloading the firmware. I have since found out that if I just recycle my cable modem while the Router is initializing then I am able to connect to the internet without having to reinstall the firmware. I found this in the NETGEAR genie. It has saved me several hours of time. This only works if you are using a cable modem. I have upgraded my firmware to 188.8.131.52.
Other Thoughts: It would be nice if NETGEAR would describe this in their quick guide.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: NETGEAR WNDR4500-100PAS N900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n
Pros: I have had this router for over a year. It has worked well.
Cons: Not intuitive on how to rest the router and reconnect to the internet when using a cable modem. I knocked off 1 egg since it was not clear how to do this
Other Thoughts: But the one problem I was having was not being able to restart the router and reconnect to the network. The router would come back up and I could communicate with it but not the internet. In the past I would reload the firmware and then the router would connect to the internet. I discovered that if you turn off the cable modem (assuming that is how you connect to the internet) during router initialization then the router will initialize and connect to the internet. This saves me from reloading the firmware each time. I did upgrade to the latest firmware level 184.108.40.206. This approach can be found in the NETGEAR Genie application.READ FULL REVIEW
