4 out of 5 eggs Big Monitor for a great price! 02/02/2014

This review is from: LG E2210p 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Pros: I got this monitor in one day. I didn't pay for extra shipping or anything. I just happened to be by Memphis, TN where it came from.

As far as Pro's for the monitor, it is HUGE! I was using a standard 1280X1024 resolution LCD monitor but it started going out. So I searched forever and ever. Finally I found this one. I was skeptical about refurbished. But I went for it. And I'm glad I did. I'm using it right now.

It is VERY VERY VERY bright and crisp. I'm amazed how bright this screen can go. I actually had to turn down the brightness. Amazing. It has color warmth settings and settings for "games" "movies" "work".

One small feature I LOVED was that it even has the option to turn off the little light by the power button! So if you don't want that little light down there, you can just turn it off in the menu and the power button won't be lit in your face anymore. I LOVED that feature!!!

Another weird feature is that it can completely swivel and the screen can go vertical instead of horizontal. I've never had a use for that, but maybe it could come in handy for someone doing artist work.

This is the best monitor I've ever owned. I still can't get over how darn big it is. It's light weight and has a small Energy Star sticker on the bottom left. It has power save features and everything. It tilt's up and everything. Just overall a fantastic monitor with all the bells and whistles. Absolutely in love with it! Only thing I could see as a blemish was this tiny tiny little bitty bit of a scuff on the right side of the plastic. But it's barely even noticeable. This monitor retails for about $170 and I got it for $99 shipped. Talk about an amazing deal. Get it NOW before someone buys them all. Because this is a dang good deal. I love mine.

Cons: Only con I could really think of was that they shipped it without any cords. I had to write the shipping company (they send a piece of paper about the refurb company with a phone number). However when I tried to call them, it rang forever and no one answered. I thought to myself "oh great one of THESE places". But sure enough I emailed them and they responded in day saying they were shipping the power cord and VGA cable immediately. I got the cords via UPS in two days. So I'm happy! I guess that's the only reason I took a star off was because I had to wait for the cords to get to me. But this monitor is a dream!
