Amazingly fast
Pros: I just received this drive today. While my review cannot speak for the longevity of this product, the performance merits merits a review. I plugged this drive into the USB 3.0 port of my Asus Formula V and ran the USBFlashSpeed benchmarking tool. Very impressive to say the least. Two benchmarks were completed and both yielded nearly identical results. Read speeds of 194MB/s and 195MB/s and write speeds of 112MB/s and 110MB/s. Those marks put this flash drive as the second fastest read speeds and fourth fastest write speeds recorded on the website. Excellent performance!!
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: The lanyard provided with this flash drive is a wrist lanyard. Total length of the lanyard is less than six inches. If you were hoping for a neck lanyard, you'll be disappointed and need to find one elsewhere.
Good but for how long?
Pros: I purchased this card back in June 2011, and it had been working fine until just recently. The sound quality and output power were significantly better than the onboard audio from my MSI P67-GD65 (until the wheels fell off, that is).
Cons: Without making any configuration changes inside my case or even opening my case for that matter, this card now seems to have a grounding problem. The microphone/line-in creates a very obnoxious whirring noise. It sounds like there's a helicopter in my living room. I have checked for any loose wires making contact with the card, any loose cables elsewhere in my case, and checked the power input to the card. I now have the card uninstalled and just sitting on my desk while I decide what to do with it. Onboard is the only real option right now. I am still under warranty, I believe, but I haven't been a big fan of Asus tech support in the past. Their products are usually amazing, but the tech support has lacked somewhat. We'll see.
Overall Review: My issue with this card could be an anomaly, and it certainly won't stop me from desiring to purchase Asus products in the future.
Not authentic
Pros: Maybe its a nice gaming mat?
Cons: Not really sure because I'm not keeping it.
Overall Review: This is not an authentic Razer Goliathus mousepad. I already own one and here's why I am claiming that this mat is phony: -The image on the mat is wrong (the real graphic is of much higher quality) -The mat surface texture is wrong (the real mat is significantly less porous) -The stitching on the mat is wrong -The non-slip material on the back of the mat is wrong -The cardboard box is wrong -The printing on the box is clearly a terrible copy (letters blacked out, and the entire box has a dull gray finish) This doesn't seem like a bad gaming mat. The problem is that I ordered and paid for a Razer Goliathus gaming mat because I already have one and really like it. I am very disappointed that this can happen on Newegg (false representation of a product) and will be filing a claim against the seller. EDIT: This review was written about the gaming mat that I received from Corn Electronics and is not a reflection of an authentic "Razer Goliathus Control Edition - Medium" mat. The Razer Goliathus is a great gaming mat, but Newegg merges the reviews of the mat from all sales sources. The Marketplace seller sent a phony mat to me, and now I am ordering one directly from Newegg at nearly twice the price. Don't make the same mistake that I did by purchasing from the aforementioned seller of this mat.
Love this board!!
Pros: Been using this board for over six months now without a hitch. It has every feature I could possibly ask for and then some. The OC button is pretty slick (set my 2500k at 4.1GHz), but I prefer to OC manually (running @ 4.7k without changing any voltages or the FSB).
Cons: I'm not a fan of the MSI Update software. It seems that it doesn't properly identify the what's already installed and it doesn't try to install the most current software when identifying out-of-date installations.
Large and In Charge
Pros: The quality of this watch is pretty amazing. The movement of the stopwatch is what surprised me the most because its so cool. Everything works very well as it should. All in all, this is an excellent timepiece.
Cons: The retaining clasp the keeps the watch securely fastened can be a bit difficult to open without some beefy strong fingernails or a small tool. Not a big deal, but just a tad bothersome when trying to remove the watch. Removing extra links takes a bit of work. There are no instructions included on how to do this the right way. I found a few sites on the internet that walked me through it. I doubt many watches are easy to resize, so this wasn't a big deal either. It took me ~15 minutes to remove the 5 links that needed to come out.
Overall Review: This watch is a bit larger than I expected. At 6' 200lbs this watch seems a little over-sized ever for me. Its not huge, but it definitely could be considered "large" or "full size". On that note, the watch definitely has a fair bit of weight to it. How could a chunk of metal this large not?
Maybe the second one will work
Pros: This board has all of the features that I was looking for when building a new PC for my sons. Add the fact that it was inexpensive and that's why I chose it as the one for my new build.
Cons: The integrated video didn't work at all. No display output from VGA or DVI. I even went to the Biostar site to see if they had a forum or FAQ about this, but had no such luck. Now I have to ship the board back to newegg($10 out the window) and will lose the rebate offer because I couldn't cut the UPC off the box that I had to ship back(another $10 lost).
Overall Review: I won't write this board off as a "don't buy" yet. Lemons happen. It just sucks that this failed board is going to cost me $20 more than it should have and make me waste 2-3 weeks on this build.
