This review is from: Microsoft XBOX 360 Media Remote
Pros: It's got a nice solid feel and a good size.
Turns my TV on/off, adjusts the volume. And that's all I want it to do as I use the XBOX as a WMC extender with a cable card tuner.
Cons: No stop button!!!!!!!!!! Who on earth decided to remove the stop button and why did anybody listen to this idiot? This one button missing makes my rating go from 4 down to 1. The stop button is that important.
Other Thoughts: It's not like they couldn't have added the stop button, there is some room on the remote. There are also a couple of redundant buttons that do the same thing. Or at the least, why not have one of the y,x,a,b buttons do stop if you didn't want to take up room on the remote for some lame reason. This should be doable with a xbox software update.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Can watch encrypted cable channels on any Windows PC in the house and on my Xbox 360.
Cons: Nothing particularly with the Prime. The only problem is dealing with the cable company to initially get the CableCard and SDV tuning adapter properly provisioned
Other Thoughts: I've been using it for 4 months now. Occasionally I will have to power cycle it, but that's no different than with the box the cable company provides either. But it's still a bit too technical to set up for the non-technically inclined.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Support forum had quick response, though they didn't even bother to look up my motherboard.
Cons: I bought this ram to go in my new Intel DG45FC, which only has 2 RAM slots. They would not run on the system together, but each would run fine on its own. The OCZ forum staff told me to RMA it, which I did. What they didn't tell me is that the RMA department is closed as it's relocating. So a week after they received my package (according to UPS) and they still haven't even processed my RMA yet. So this is 2 weeks not being able to use my system at all. Based on this experience, I will never buy OCZ again.
Other Thoughts: You can get cheaper RAM and just throw it away if it doesn't work, and have new larger capacity RAM on hand faster than this, with RAM prices continually dropping. There's no reason to pay a premium for a lifetime warranty from a company with RMA service like this.READ FULL REVIEW
