Rosewill RNX-N250UBE - Wireless N300 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b/11g/11n, (2T2R), Up to 300 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Interface, Two 5 dBi High Power Detachable Antenna

Pros: None

Cons: Drivers from Rosewill caused it to disconnect every five minutes. Downloaded drivers from their site and had even more issues. I would say it arrived defective.

Other Thoughts: Downloaded Realtek's drivers and gained some stability. Still had significantly reduced bandwidth from my PCI express card and continued to have connection stability problems. This is the second Rosewill product I have had issues with.

Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT25664BD160B

Pros: Inexpensive memory with a low voltage requirement. I used these for a low power consumption PC. While the the reduction in power consumption is hardly noticeable by itself, it does add up when combining other low power consumption parts. If going green and saving money with your energy bill is a goal, then by all means use this memory to complete your build.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: When building for low power consumption the energy used is a sum total of all your parts. Everything must be tweaked. My system is rock solid stable, fast enough to run the apps and games I throw at it, and makes a small footprint when my electric bill comes around.

SABRENT TV-PCIRC TV Tuner / Video Capture / MPEG Recording PCI Card with Remote Control

4 out of 5 eggs Inexpensive basic TV tuner. 02/06/2009

This review is from: SABRENT TV-PCIRC TV Tuner / Video Capture / MPEG Recording PCI Card with Remote Control

Pros: Cheap, works as advertised. Vista compatible ...sorta.

Cons: Bracket alignment was off slightly. The included software works but really needs improvement. Vista media center won't detect this card despite having vista certified drivers.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for plain and simple. I'm not sure what other people expected. For the cost this card gets the job done. If you want basic TV input this card will do the trick. I have a lot of distortion with the analog input. This may be because of poor wiring though.
