Pros: it's not a bad water cooler, but I expected much better performance out of a 360mm Radiator AIO water cooler. It cools better than an O.E.M. CPU fan but my Noctua Nh-d14 air cooler with two fans mops the floor with this cooler with 6 fans (Push/Pull). Under a simple CPUZ stress test the temps went from 36 Celcius to 57 Celcius in under 4 minutes, this same test on my Noctua temps went from 34 Celcius to 52 Celcius and it took 8 minutes to hit that temperature
Cons: Received this cooler with one of the radiator fans D.O.A., Cooling performance is mediocre at best. My Noctua Nh-d14 2 fan air cooler completely demolishes this cooler with 6 fans.
Other Thoughts: If you are determined to purchase a water cooler, buy the Corsair H100i V2 or better.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Base Clock 4.7 Ghz Turbo 5.0 Ghz, 8 threads for multitasking multiple processes and applications. Can be air cooled with a high performance
Cons: 220 watt power consumption, motherboard MUST have 4 pin and 8 pin power phases, PSU must have both, (because you will utilize both)in order to run at stock frequency otherwise the highest you will get 4.5 Ghz Turbo disabled. Gets HOT so you need a high performance air or a 240 mm+ water/liquid cooler. Has lower core performance than previous Phenom 2 CPUs (but that's to be expected from Bulldozer based CPUs). Games like Crysis and Crysis Warhead will only run in 64 bit mode.
Other Thoughts: If you need the multi threading, I advise you to buy the cheaper FX 8370E at $219.00. The FX 8370E overclocks higher than the FX 9590 and uses less power to achieve these clocks while producing less heat.READ FULL REVIEW
