This review is from: ViewSonic VA2037A-LED Black 20" 5ms Widescreen LED Backlight Monitor
Pros: Decent picture, nice price, pretty good size
Cons: VGA only, no built-in speakers
Other Thoughts: Good for the price, but I wouldn't buy again if it weren't discounted. If you're looking for cheap-but-works, definitely go for it; if you have some extra money buy a little nicer 1080p or something with DVI/HDMI inputREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive WDBUZG0010BBK-NESN Black
Pros: Works really well, high capacity, almost always on discount, USB 3.0, very quiet
Cons: nothing apparent
Other Thoughts: Not the fastest drive ever, but its incredibly solid overall. Well worth the priceREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist [Online Game Code]
Pros: A blast to play, looks great on even a mid-rig pc
Cons: UPlay is a bit of a pain, initial updates suck
Other Thoughts: I got this at a steep discount (~$8) and it is well worth even twice that. I've played every Splinter Cell and this is probably my 3rd favorite behind Double Agent and Chaos Theory. They have a bit of a hybrid stealth system that mixes Conviction's cover-to-cover and previous mechanics, but it works well.
Uplay sucks, mostly because of the initial updates like another reviewer mentioned (an egg taken off for that), but it doesn't have much of an effect on the game itself. Also, Michael Ironside is no longer the voice of Sam Fisher, but the newer guy does a fine job as long as you're not bothered by Sam supposedly being older yet sounding a lot younger.
