This review is from: Rosewill Libertas Series LIB-650 650W Continuous @40°C,80 PLUS Certified, Full Modular, ATX12V v2.3/EPS12V v2.92,SLI Ready, CrossFire Ready, Active PFC, Compatible with Core i7, i5 Power Supply
Pros: Price, quiet, fully modular, excellent packaging with foam surrounding the psu, a bag for the extra cables, powerful 50 amp single 12v rail, 8 sata connectors and good wire lengths. I have a bottom mounted psu case and while it could be a little longer the 12v 8 pin atx connector did reach the 8 pin socket at the very top of the motherboard. It wasn't at all stretched( like my ocz modular psu) but used every bit of the length.
Cons: none so far.....except all psu companies should make the 12v power cables a little longer as many people are going with bottom mount cases.
Other Thoughts: It was a little shorter than my OCZ 520w Modular (allows a little more room for wires) I have 8 networked computers and have built many more over the past ten years and I am very satisfied with this power supply. This is for my front room media server with 3 hard drives, 2 dvdrw, three large fans, Evga gts 250 oc, E-8400 asus pro turbo board and 4gigs of Corsair ram. The psu is very quiet even with a load.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill CHALLENGER - Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Three Included Fans - 1 x Front Blue LED 120mm Fan, 1 x Top 140mm Fan, 1 x Rear 120mm Fan - Two More Optional Side 120mm Fans Supported
Pros: Ventilation, clean appearance, price. My processor temps went down after changing to this case for my front room media server. It has very good air flow with the top fan right by the processor fan. I like the bottom mount power supply with a grill filter on the bottom to draw in less dust. The power supply gasket is a nice touch. I like the side ways mounted HD bays with the wires running to the back of the case. Got it on sale for $35....
Cons: Be careful with the front bezel when mounting your DVD-RW's ....it can be a little tricky. It could have been designed a little better. Not a big con though.
Other Thoughts: For the price and the features this is a great case and I am very happy with it. I am going to get another one today as they are on sale again. You can hear air flow but the fans are not loud at all.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: To the people that complain about "bare" drives having no cables or screws...no "bare or OEM" drive comes with a box or any accessories. You need to buy a retail box version of the drive and it will have an"RTL" in the model number. You will pay much more for a retail drive. I have bought many WD drives over the past 10 years and only had one go bad. These are great drives and I will only buy Western Digital. I have built many computers for family and friends plus 8 that are on my network all with WD harddrives. All are still working fine after years of use and reformatting.
Cons: None ......except when people con a product that is just what it claims to be nothing more nothing less.
Other Thoughts: Great price....great for storage.READ FULL REVIEW
