This review is from: APEVIA ATX-AS680W-BL 680W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready Power Supply
Pros: Works great for my VisionTek X1950 Pro AGP card.
Cons: The metal mesh fan protecter under the Apevia logo cover that looks like a chinese star, was pushing into the fan. As soon as I powered on, the sound was horrible. I disasembled the PSU unit and removed the metal screen rather than opting to RMA.
Other Thoughts: Has all the connections you need.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe Dual-Core 2.4GHz LGA 775 65W Processor BX80557E6600
Pros: For the money.
Cons: Not that much different from my P4 3.0. Wish it was faster.
Other Thoughts: I have this baby O'C at 2.68GHz and it's real stable with a coolerMaster Hyper 48 Heatsink. Runs at 25c idle and 32c under load. If you have the extra bucks, buy the Core 2 Extreme 6800 at 2.93Ghz.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock 775Dual-VSTA LGA 775 VIA PT880 PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Multi Platform. An extensive and complex bios with the most options I've ever seen. More than Asus or Gigabyte.
Cons: This board is definately not for high end gaming performance.
Other Thoughts: This board works great. No problems at all. It is a great board if you want to build a cheaper system with a LGA775 P4, Celeron or PD CPU, with DDR memory and a cheaper AGP card. Then when prices drop you may upgrade to a Core 2 Duo, and DDR2 memory. I don't know if you'd want to upgrade to PCI-E GPU card, since it's only X4 slot. I have a Visiontek AGP X1950 Pro with this set-up and it's pretty fast.READ FULL REVIEW
