This review is from: Pioneer SP-C21 Center Channel Speaker Single
Pros: Monsterous sound for a small price tag. Current price is great, even better when it goes on sale!
Moves a lot of air for a center channel, whilst still staying clean sounding.
Cons: None to speak of. Some might not like the full time wire mesh grills. its a speaker, you listen to it...not stare at it.
Other Thoughts: Buy it, hell of a deal.
Look at it this way, if you dont like it....put it in the bedroom for those extra loud Barry White music sessions.
This review is from: YAMAHA RX-V473BL 5.1-Channel Network AV Receiver
Pros: Power. Tons of Options for Sound Field (yamaha always does this) great enhancements that don't sound processed. Nice Speaker Wire Termicals that accept even my beefy 14 gauge wire.
On Screen Display coupled with Yamaha's mic to set up your configuration saves boat loads of time.
This thing makes my Allison CD-7's sing in stereo mode and surround. My pioneer center channel jams and my surrounds do their surrounding, they suck but its not the amps fault now is it??
Love this lil guy!
Cons: Vid Up Conversation is missing. Not the end of the world, click my LG Plasma's remote on the fast input setting to AV or I could use my Receiver's remote...im too busy (cough, lazy) to configure.
Other Thoughts: Easy up time. Having network connection with this power rating at this price is a steal if you know what you are doing otherwise. Simple setup, not overly massive. Nice display.
Clean design, clean power, clean sound, clean inputs. Buy it, stop looking.
This review is from: Polk Audio PSW Series PSW505 12" Powered Subwoofer Single
Pros: This is a phenomenal sub for the money and the fact that it is ported ( a huge baffle that runs almost the entire wide of the cabinet). Very accurate, very filling when it needs to be. Make sure your decorations are secure, cause this thing will attempt to eat them! Totally fine by me, by the way. Speaker War Wounds I can handle, sub-par bass...not so much!
Cons: Not many. Make sure you have room. Not the most accurate subwoofer ever, but it comes close to anything within $500 in price range. You won't be sorry!
Other Thoughts: Step One : Buy It
Step Two : Impress Friends with an all DubStep, teeth rattling party.
Step Three : Make neighbors angry.
Step Four : Invite neighbors over.
Step Five : Extend the Party.
