Pros: The idea of a full Windows touchscreen computer in this form factor is very appealing.
Display is decent for the price. Fairly powerful CPU and GPU for such a small machine. I had no problems with battery life.
Cons: Just now, exactly 30 days after purchase, it powered off during a restart and will not power on. I tried pressing the power button a few times and it felt odd. Pressed a bit harder and it broke, plastic had snapped.
Also even if you get a working one, beware the right-hand shift key is ABSOLUTELY TINY. Horrible for touch typists. No UK keyboard layout available either. The click action on the mouse trackpad feels a bit cheap because it's not a separate button just a switch under the flexible plastic trackpad's corner.
This machine unfortunately also shows how much further Microsoft have to go with Windows 8.1. The desktop mode is not in the slightest touch-optimised, everything is tiny and very difficult to press with your finger reliably. I tried scaling the GUI up but got errors about "some windows may not fit on your monitor".
Also beware it's only small SSD, half of which will be taken up by Windows. Not a problem for me but it would be for some.
