This review is from: Phanteks PH-F140HP_BK 2 140mm PWM Fan
Pros: This is a very nice looking fan. The finish level is about as high as you can find in the industry. It pushes a lot of air without spinning very fast. Good choice for white cases with a little black accent. The cables are finished in white sleeves.
Cons: There is a faint mechanical sound that I don't like. It's not terrible (like the Corsair SP120's), but it is noticeable. The Noctua NF-P14 that I have just sounds like moving air and may be a better choice for a silent build.
Other Thoughts: The screw pattern is designed to work with 120mm connections. This allows people to place this as an exhaust fan that normally won't fit a 140mm fan. This won't work if you are replacing a 140mm fan unless you also have 120mm screw holes.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Has been solid for 2 years powering a dual GPU, overclocked i5-2500K@ 4.6GHz PC. Nice fully modular cables. Very efficient for a Gold rated PSU; Jonnyguru actually tested this power supply as having Platinum level efficiency. Quiet Fan and nice looks.
Cons: About 8 weeks ago I started having random power issues until the V1000 finally quit working. Fortunately I have another 1000 watt PSU, so it didn't cause me too much heartache (had to rewire my case). The real issue has been RMA support with Cooler Master. They received my PSU FIVE weeks ago and have yet to send a replacement. Their support forums are full of others dealing with excessively long warranty replacements.
Other Thoughts: Support from the manufacturer is very important to me and should be to everyone working with technology. Even though I have been a Cooler Master fan for many years(cases and cooling devices), this will most likely be my last purchase from them. Very disappointed.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS PCE-AC56 802.11ac Dual-band Wireless-AC1300 PCI-E Adapter
Pros: Extended my wireless signal greatly over my previous USB adapter. Worked first time without installing any of Asus's software. Using Windows 7, I installed the driver off of Asus's website and it fired right up.
Cons: It would be nice to be able to lengthen the antennas wire.
Other Thoughts: Since I didn't have a faster router I bought this model over the newer, faster model. Try to match the speeds of your Wireless router with your adapters, as they are only as fast as the slowest device.READ FULL REVIEW
