SanDisk Extreme SDSSDX-240G-G25 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Very fast read and write speeds.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I've only been running two of these for about a week now, but as long as they don't break on me, they are great!

GIGABYTE GV-N660OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Fast and quiet! Only needs one 6-pin connection from a power supply, unlike the GTX 460 which I upgraded from.

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: The $20 rebate is a big hassle. It requires you to fill out a form online, then print out a form and mail it in to the manufacturer (in Texas) along with the serial numbers cut out from the box.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

5 out of 5 eggs Good bang for your buck! 09/25/2011

This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: - cheap
- upgradeable to a second fan
- works well, my temperature range is now 30-40, even under load
- quite quiet

Cons: - instructions are a little unclear, but I was able to figure them out and install it correctly
- it's very big (although with a 120mm fan, that should be somewhat obvious), just barely fit inside my case.

Other Thoughts: I used this to replace the stock heatsink for an AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE (which sounded like a jet engine), so the noise reduction for me is significant. It works great, so as long as your case has room to fit it, I highly recommend it!
