Solid case
Pros: Solid construction Plenty of room Grommets for cable routing Plenty of screws and hardware for mounting everything
Cons: Flimsy HD sleds Cheesy LED lights on the fans
Overall Review: Fans are a solid meh -- they're certainly not the worst fans to ship with a case, but you can do better Also, as others have noted, the fan control knob is an odd and unnecessary feature
50% failure
Pros: Drives offers tons of storage, fast access times, and relatively quiet operation.
Cons: One of two drives suffered an almost immediate 'clicking noise' death. I'm waiting on Newegg for a replacement. Also, why the drive ships with a jumper engaged that cripples throughput is beyond me (and the jumper is one of the tiniest, hardest to remove SOBs I've encountered in 10 years of system building). Finally, last time I checked, 1 TB = 2^40 bytes, not 10^12. Lame.
Overall Review: Both drives are of firmware revision SD15, manufactured in Thailand.
UPDATE: 67% Failure Rate
Pros: 1 of 3 drives works.
Cons: Only 1 of 3 drives works.
Overall Review: Bought two of these drives for a RAID 1, and one of the two was DOA. Returned to Newegg for replacement, and now the replacement is DOA. All are firmware revision SD15, manufactured in Thailand. Caveat Emptor.
