Pros: The cool thing about this Video card is that it is slightly overclocked by ASUS, but costs as much as a regular GTX 570. You do get a slight increase in benchmark scores with this overclock, but I don't think there's any noticeable difference in games.
The thing I like the most though is how quiet it is. I used to buy coolers for my previous cards, but I think I'll just stick with stock cooling on this one.
Cons: It is a bit long, but it shouldn't be a problem for most gaming towers.
Other Thoughts: I always went with Radeon for my previous builds, but I bought this one before HD6970 came out. Since the performance and price are practically identical, I don't regret my decision to buy GTX 570 at all; especially considering that 6970 is probably louder.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It's a very nice laptop overall. It has a decent amount of CPU performance. The HD4650 1GB Video card is good enough to handle any new game on normal settings. Its very versatile, and I enjoy using it despite a couple of cons I list below.
Cons: -Battery Life is about 2 hrs; probably less, if you run a graphics-intensive game. In battery saving mode you may get up to 3 hrs if you turn down screen brightness and not use CPU too much.
-No dedicated volume control buttons! You have to hold down "Fn"+ "F11" or "F12" to adjust volume.
-Despite having an excellent keyboard; the mouse buttons are just horrible. I actually avoid using them because they are so loud and clunky.
-If you're a right-handed gamer, you may find it annoying that the exhaust fan is on the right side of the laptop.
-The lid is a fingerprint magnet. The glossy finish and pretty pattern will only look good until someone touches it. Then you'll have to clean it - or it will look greasy.
Other Thoughts: The cooling system is very good. If you're surfing the web, you'll probably not even notice the fan noise. It does get a bit loud if you're pushing the pc to the max; but that shouldn't be a huge issue with most people.
The included Small Logitech USB mouse is not the best, but is good enough for any practical purpose. The Targus case that computer came with, appears to be a decent quality case. The additional ASUS software didn't give me any problems, but most of it seems to be completely useless, and it takes quite a bit of time to install it during the initial startup.
