This review is from: Prolimatech PRO-PK3-5G Nano Aluminum High-Grade Thermal Compound in 5 Gram
Pros: * Spreads easily
* Great thermal conduction
* Not electrically conductive
* No burn-in
Cons: * Price, but who cares?
Other Thoughts: This compound seems to have it all. For a first-timer who didn't want to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it working, this was perfect.
AMD FX-8350 at stock settings, with Antec Kuhler 920:
Ambient T: 24*C
Prime95 max T: 48*C
This review is from: Antec KUHLER H2O 920 Liquid Cooling System
Pros: Compact for the cooling you get.
Performs well for what it is.
Software is fine, but make sure your other drivers are not controlling fan speeds also. Not sure what others are complaining about here.
Cons: Not the best value; if you can fit a bigger radiator, you're probably better off with something else, pricewise.
Other Thoughts: I have an AMD FX-8350 clocked at 4.7GHz and 1.38V with PK-3; I use it for running codes mostly, and it never gets above 60*C, but I have to set the cooling thresholds on the software at their minimums. I want to really crank up my CPU though so I'll have to get something bigger.READ FULL REVIEW
*Cable management is great. I upgraded from an Antec 300, which isn't bad but was pretty cramped to the point of reducing airflow.
*Fans everywhere. I took all the fans off the Antec 300 and added them to my new case lol
*I like the red LED's, and they mix pretty well with the blue antec fans actually.
Cons: *Sides are pretty hard to get off. You may have to man-handle it and struggle for a good 20 minutes before it cooperates.READ FULL REVIEW
