This review is from: Saints Row 2
Pros: Excellent story. It doesn't take itself too seriously and all the actors are over-the-top, tongue in cheek, 1 dimensional parodies of their respective stereotypes.
Quality voice acting.
Memorable character interactions
Fun and varied side missions
Cons: As others have mentioned, this is a Steam based game. Since I already have a Steam account, it doesn't bother me much.
Poor vehicle and vehicle camera control.
Obvious console port. Menu tabs are navigated by shift and ctrl. Weapons selection via button click and move of cursor. Mini-games with dual joystick control graphics.
Jerky frame-rates. Combined with poor vehicle control tend to give me slight motion sickness =(
Other Thoughts: I need to reinstall fraps to check frame-rates and have yet to really tweak graphic settings (too busy trying to get playing =D) but it's not smooth on 2xAA,4xAF,1680x1050. System is Athlon II 620, 4GB, HD5770, Win7 x64 HomePre, which is a decent mid-range build. Gonna try and see if I can map my PS3 controller, since this is such an obvious port.
The DVD case was cracked when I received it =/
Excellent game for the price if you're a fan of the sandbox, city-roaming, 3rd person shooter. An awesome game, as evidenced by high rating despite my list of cons.
This review is from: Rosewill R102-P-BK 120mm Fan MicroATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Light weight, unobtrusive
Cons: The front panel USB doesn't work and the constructions of the case had built in "risers" that shorted out the mobo due to how large its contact area was. Problem fixed with liberal application of electrical tape.
Other Thoughts: Came free as part of combo with mobo purchase. Wasn't even the correct size. (Mobo was ATX), swapped guts with old system that fits. You get what you paid for.READ FULL REVIEW
