Vantec NexStar CX SuperSpeed 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: I have had a couple of different drives in the enclosure and they both fit very well. Everything fits tight. The drives worked perfectly on both USB 3.0 & 2.0.

Cons: I don't care for the cable, but I know it is necessary.

5 out of 5 eggs The best there is. 03/22/2013

This review is from: Tripp Lite Model USA-19HS USB High Speed Serial Adapter

Pros: This is the best converter I've used or seen used. It has worked every time. The serial assistant software it comes with is very helpful when trouble shooting connection issues.(I'm not big on OEM software usually but this time it is actually good!) I have connected to most all AllenBradly equipment from PLC 5 to the most current drives, I've also used it for connecting to RFID readers, etc. I have never had any issues with the device.

Cons: None, I tried to think of some and I cant.

ADATA DashDrive Durable Series HD710 1TB USB 3.0 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: It works like it should. I get 3.0 speeds, I haven't had any issues with the drive after about 6 months. And the best feature is how the cable attaches to the drive case, I never have to worry about finding the cable for it.

Cons: The USB port on the drive seems a little loose but I've moved it around quite a bit while it was plugged in and I have never had an issue. So more of a feel issue, not an actual problem.
