Perixx MX-1800B, Programmable Gaming Mouse - Black - 7 Programmable Button - Omron Micro Switches - Avago ADNS 3090 Optical 3500dpi Sensor - Changeable Side Wing - Ultra Polling 125-1000HZ
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Nice size for me personally, as well as my 2 adult children. Solid feel, customized looks and shape. Longevity.

Cons: supplied software is a little quirky, but works fine.

I sometimes hit the side buttons by accident with my thumb.

Other Thoughts: I use these on both of my desktops as well as for the builds I did for my grown children. Been running great for almost 2 years. Mice don't last forever, but so far I am impressed with the longevity of these, outlasting several more expensive ones in the past. Uses these have seen: Gaming, graphics, and recording.

Perixx PX-1100 Backlit Gaming Keyboard - Red/Blue/Purple Illuminated Keys
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Looks nice, solid build, has weight. Thick cord.

Cons: wrist support isn't superb, but ok.

Other Thoughts: Bought one for a build I did for my son--a year and a half later, it is still going strong, so I also used it for my daughter's new build 4 months ago. When its time to replace my keyboard, I'll most likely choose this for myself as well.

Corsair Carbide Series 500R Black Steel structure with molded ABS plastic accent pieces ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Solid case, easy to run/hide wires, plenty of room, nice appearance. Nothing on it seems cheap or flimsy. Screwholes line up with everything nicely.

I have primarily used Antec cases in the past, and will now recommend Corsairs as well.

Cons: One minor complaint--Poor documentation: not that there needs to be a lot explained in a case but nothing besides a very general "quick start" manual (a folded page) that just identifies the major components of the case. Nothing other than the same guide at their site. I specifically had questions about the front panel wires, which I am sure their support could answer, but just a few lines on the quick start about it would have been easier.

Other Thoughts: I really like the case, would buy it again.
