This review is from: Klipsch Image S4i - II Black In-Ear Headphones
Pros: When they fail, Klipsch will replace with a new pair in 10-45 days, and that pair will work and sound great, until it doesn't.
Cons: One earbud will probably fail.
I have owned four pairs of Klipsch Image S4i headphones, both gen I and II, and with every pair, after as long as several months and sometimes as little as several days, one of the earbuds fails to work. As in: no sound out of either right or left earbud, regardless of if it's connected to my iPhone, MacBook, receiver, whatever. Broken.
I don't know what's the probability of this being a fluke, four times consecutively, but it's not a good look for Klipsch. I don't lead an extreme lifestyle, prone to damaging my tech. An amateur but nonetheless detailed eyeball of the phone connector reveals no evident damage. Ditto the cable itself, or the buds. Mysterious and frustrating.
It's a testament to my own foolish hope that I've continued to go through the returns process, either through my Apple retailer or through Klipsch directly. No longer. Don't be seduced. These will probably fail.
This review is from: Antec Notebook Cooler Stand NOTEBOOK COOLER STAND
Pros: Elegant, stable, quiet, unobtrusive, ergonomic, & bound to protect your fragile laptop HD from overheating.
Cons: Stand shakes some with vigorous typing; this is easily remedied by placing stand atop another secure box, something you ought do anyway to ensure proper screen height.
Other Thoughts: A simple & inexpensive way to upgrade your workspace. Elevating the screen closer to eye level has profound benefits to neck & shoulder comfort and the oft ill-ventilated laptop similarly benefits from the USB fan, which is near-silent.READ FULL REVIEW
