Pros: Modular, quiet
Cons: Unreliable. No way to turn off the red light.
Other Thoughts: I'm a professional software developer and owned lots of different computers over the years with different kinds of PSUs. ALL of the PSUs I had worked for at least 5 years before they were thrown out being outdated. None of them failed. This is the ONLY PSU I ever had that failed.
A side note: out of 5 SSD drives from different vendors I have, OCZ drive is the only one that failed TWICE.
OCZ needs to work on improving quality. I will not by OCZ producs again.
This review is from: XIGMATEK PTI-G3606 thermal grease
Pros: It works
Cons: Not worth the full price - you can find better value. Don't count on getting your rebate.
Other Thoughts: For a full price, you can find better value. If they offer a rebate, don't count on getting it. These guys process rebates in-house, and are not doing a good job at it. Their rebate status hotline is just a # for one of their employees who is supposed to provide status, but her mailbox is always full. Lately she changed the message to indicate she won't provide status over the phone, asking to e-mail, yet they never returned any of my e-mails....
Not a trustworthy company.
Pros: Fast when worked
Cons: Unreliable. First OCZ Vertex2 drive failed within 18 months. This drive is a replacement, failed within 3 months.
I have two different models of Kingston SSDs, one in my kid's PC which takes a LOT of abuse, and it's going strong for two years now.
OCZ is just not reliable.
