This review is from: NTi Echo 3 - Perfect solution for all your cloning needs
Pros: Easy to use and set up.
Cons: Went disasterously wrong with a non-standard MBR/software encrypted hdd. Fortunately helpdest was able to recover my encryption keys. I should have known better but I'm taking an egg for not warning me.
Other Thoughts: It messes with the MBR and windows boot files to do the cloning. This is all well and good when you have a standard MBR, but if you have a dual-boot and/or especially an encrypted HDD, it's liable to hang unrecoverably.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works, good transfer speed, reads SDHC SD card, USB port works
Cons: SD cards go in with contacts up, doesn't really sit flush with face of computer, has a little trouble with media detection after sleep mode - but this is an old Dell so what do you expect?
Need to have 9-pin motherboard USB header - my Dell didn't so I bought an expansion card with another 4 ports and the header ($15 shipped) - needed the ports anyway.
Other Thoughts: At $8 on a shell-shocker, it's good value, but there's nothing exceptional about it - I've paid the same for better-quality products.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech RX1500 Black 3 Buttons Tilt Wheel USB Corded Laser 1000 dpi Mouse
Pros: Smooth, love being able to switch between fast scroll and click scroll, best mouse I've used in the sub-$15 price range.
Cons: No side buttons; however, as I never use them, I don't miss them.
Slightly less easy on the hand than a Logitech MX518.
Other Thoughts: Bought these from a popular 1-a-day sale site and liked it so much I'm buying two from Newegg now.READ FULL REVIEW
