Pros: Fast, quiet, cool, energy efficient, small, and competitive price. You can throw this thing in any computer with PCIe and play anything at 1080 with decent settings.
+No external power! Which means it doesn't need a 6-pin connector and it draws less power overall.
+Small form factor. The tradeoff is a short, wide card that takes up two slots with the potential to fit in smaller computers.
+Performance similar to a GTX660 and Radeon 7850 which is great for it's size.
+ShadowPlay constantly records the last 5-20 minutes of gameplay which is really nice. It takes a small performance hit but it's optional and off by default. And it's still in beta.
+GSync synchronizes frames with a GSync compatible monitor which eliminates screen tearing without the performance hit of Vsync. Haven't tested this yet since I don't have a GSync monitor and the technology is new.
Cons: You can't go wrong unless it dies.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: No pros, see cons.
Cons: The cable doesn't work - it gets incredibly hot near the connector. It's burning hot. When it gets hooked up to something it disconnects every USB device from the computer, even the power! I've tried two digital cameras so far. The laser on the mouse goes out, external drives stop spinning and you hear the disconnect sound on Windows. When you unplug it everything goes back to normal. Something is seriously wrong with these cables.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock 970DE3/U3S3 AM3+ AMD 770 + SB710 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Perfect board for the price, performs well. It has plenty of USB slots.
Cons: This board went dead after two weeks. It causes the system to halt anywhere between a minute and an hour just by being powered on, so it doesn't matter if it's waiting in the BIOS or in Windows/Linux. Everything else in the build is good, it's always been using BIOS defaults. I won't be ordering from ASRock anytime soon. Look at other thoughts.
Other Thoughts: I had a 970 EXTREME3 that went dead in three months and ASRock sent back the SAME dead board. There isn't much you can do at this point other than order another board. Thankfully this 970DE3 is still under Newegg's RMA period.READ FULL REVIEW
