Seagate Pipeline HD ST3320311CS 320GB 5900 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: *Good for only small workloads

Cons: *Its slower than advertised with a max read of 39 mb/s and write of 35 mb/s
*failed on a couple of sector tests just 3 months later

Other Thoughts: This drive is slower than advertised, i would only recommend this for people who use this for very small workloads and not as your main drive. windows takes 2 minutes and 36 seconds to boot on this drive when fully defragmented.

MSI Z97S SLI Plus LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Looks amazing
Has large heatsinks over every power phase mosfet for overclocking
support haswell out of the box
Supports sli and crossfire
Easy to use bios
better than the MSI Z97 U3+

Cons: Odd front panel pin placement on board (read other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: I love this board but what caught me by surprise was the strange placement of the front panel connection pins, they were on the bottom left of the motherboard causing me to have to stretch the front panel wiring over top the motherboard causing my windowed case pc to look ugly. Also something else thats is odd is that this motherboard is better than the more expensive MSI Z97 U3+ which doesnt even support sli and has less features.

RAIDMAX Vortex V3 ATX-403WB Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Light
fits a 160mm cooler easily
good features for the price

Cons: too small!
front panel hookup wires are too short
Zero cable management! (read Other thoughts)
faulty door hinge

Other Thoughts: OK so i bought this case thinking it was going to work great for my second gaming PC build, but the case is much much smaller in person, i would not recommend this motherboard if you are installing a full atx motherboard and here's why, Reason #1: The front panel wiring is so short that it was nearly impossible to connect them to the motherboard. Reason#2: The power supply is such a tight fit that the top of it was blocking half the row of pins on the motherboard, including the usb 3.0 which cannot be plugged in. so if you have a bottom plug usb 3.0 header i would not recommend this case, Reason #3: There is literally no cable management whatsoever because even though the back-plate is designed for cable management, i could not even get the back panel on the case with even the most tidy cable management i could do. i was forced to put the bundle of cables underneath the hard drive in the bottom cage.
