PowerColor Radeon HD 7950 DirectX 11.1 AX7950 3GBD5-2DHV5E 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Overclocks well( havent pushed it to its limits yet) i have the OC set to 1100mhz core and havent touched the memory yet.
Performs very well, nice improvement over my GTX 560

Cons: It seems a little less sturdy than my previous GTX 560 from MSI. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: It seems a bit flimsy compared to my gtx 560, but this shouldnt be a big issue because it doesnt sag under its own weight. I will write a more detailed review after i have had it a bit longer to see if any issues arise. I would recommend this card. i got it for a great price(if i bought it from newegg it would have been a bit cheaper) Plus the free games are good.

5 out of 5 eggs Good fan 07/12/2012

This review is from: XIGMATEK eXTREME SILENT Series XSF-F1252 120mm Case Fan

Pros: It is a quality built fan. Ive had them for about 6 months now running nearly non-stop and they still work like new. I've had some other fans from different manufactures that start squealing or making funny noises after just a month or so of use. so its well worth it to spend the extra few dollars on a quality fan.

Cons: Not really a con but the fans Can get a little noisy when at max speed but what do you expect if you want some high airflow.

Other Thoughts: Im going to stick with this company for my fans for the time being, going to try the XAF series next.

MSI GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) DirectX 11 N560GTX Twin Frozr II/OC 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: Great card for the price.
Runs BF3 on Max settings(can run Ultra but it can get a little choppy but not bad at all.)
Runs BF3 on Ultra smoothly after a slight overclock.
Overclocks well, running 1ghz core 2000mhz shader and 2100mhz memory at just under 1.1mV and stays cool (around 60c +/- 5c)

Cons: Its not a GTX 680

Other Thoughts: If you are on a budget but still want some good gaming performance, pick this card up, runs very well after OC'ing it, and stays nice and cool because of the dual fan cooling solution. i was gonna grab another to SLI, but im going to pick up a 670 when they come out.
