Pros: Looks nice, works well. It has a blue power LED and a red activity LED. It gets power from a regular Molex connector which is great for those older machines that don't have power supplies with the newer SATA power connectors.
Other Thoughts: So far I've only had the chance to try this with an 80GB SATA drive on Windows XP. I have it hooked up to a SATA to USB adapter because my computer's motherboard doesn't support SATA hot swapping. It works well.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Low Profile Card, Surprise S-Video port! VGA output works with Ubuntu Linux after you install the nVidia drivers.
Cons: Received incorrect low profile bracket for the digital output port. Just a hassle I wasn't looking for and didn't need.
Other Thoughts: I received a PNY 8400 GS video card that was was attached to a full-sized bracket. Unlike the photos shown on Newegg, the card I received has an S-Video port. Unfortunately the low profile bracket that was supplied must have been a generic one as the card didn't fit right in the case (and the bracket didn't have an opening for the S-Video port.) After debating whether to take a Dremel to the bracket, I ended up purchasing the XFX Low Profile Bracket Kit and used the dual bracket. The VGA cable on the board is just long enough to make it work. (The VGA cable supplied with the kit has a different connector that doesn't work with this video card.) So overall things worked out, I just wish they could have been easier.READ FULL REVIEW
